Snow-covered Landscape
Pierre-Auguste Renoir · 1875

About this painting
Renoir loathed painting in the cold, and it shows in his output: by his own account to dealer Ambroise Vollard, this small snow scene from the harsh winter of 1874-75 was essentially his only finished winter landscape.
