About this painting
Painted around 1919 near the end of Renoir's life at Cagnes-sur-Mer, this small landscape shows two pine trees rendered in dry, loose brushwork that leaves the canvas texture visible. It was donated to the MuMa Le Havre by Hélène Senn-Foulds in 2004.
